Nonexclusive rights within women talk book

Women Talk are going to publish a book for 2014 that will feature the motivational stories of women living in Luton.

All proceeds from the book will be put back into the Women Talk community group and the copyright of the book belongs to Women Talk.

When you write your story you give us non-exclusive UK rights to publish it in our book.

What are non-exclusive UK rights?

It means you give us, as your publisher, the right to distribute your work in the UK and to sell it online. However, this right is not exclusive to us and you are free to distribute the work yourself and/or with any other publisher. So after writing your very short story (under 1,000 words)  if you decide to write it as a short story (3-4,000 words) or even as a novel we have no right to any of your work.

We ask that your work be original and NOT printed anywhere else. Outside of that we make no demands. After we publish it if you want to publish it yourself in any other way you are free to do so.
